kenanga
Kenanga Wholesale Centre, is Malaysia's new single largest centre specialising in wholesale textile distribution and trade, located near the city centre. The 11 storey structure comprise elevated 5 car park floors providing some 1200 spaces, and also 6 storeys of retail lots, totalling altogether nearly 1 million sqft of gross floor area. The project is now undergoing piling and substructural works. Blockwork is used extensively to evoke the era of simple honest and affordable buildings of the sixties, at the same time echoing and resonating with the spirit of the place, reminiscent of the surrounding architecture. The facade has a ribbed and collared brow to distribute water discharge, whereas the rooftop acts as insulator for the open and naturally ventilated retail floors. Here will be placed 2 levels of elevated floors with glass bridges, most of the structure is steel, with a metal roof.

11 storey building exclusively for textiles? this is so incredible and truly amazing. I think such places saves lots of time from going to several places for buying different things. I prefer going to places like these where I get all things under one roof.

I agree. With everything at one roof, you don't have to worry about searching elsewhere for that particular thing you're looking for. It would save a lot of time and effort just merely searching.

Putting all the things you need in one roof is a good idea. I don't have to tire myself looking for so many others whenever an item is not available in one store. I suppose there are a lot of different textiles available on that building.

It's good to know to have a building with everything you need in it. At least you spare some time trying to buy things which aren't on the same store but still on the same roof. That would save me enough of the effort.

That would be great. If that building were around somewhere near and everything in place, I don't have to waste my time looking for something else. The only thing is it's too far from where I am.
